The clarification became necessary following the confusion as to whether candidates with awaiting result are eligible to register for the UTME.
In a statement signed by the spokesperson of JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin and sent to Sundiata Post, JAMB said that candidates with awaiting result are eligible to register and sit for the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination. He however, said that such students have between May and August to upload their result to be confirmed into any tertiary institution.
