Abuja (Sundiata Post) — On late Sunday evening, President Muhammadu Buhari jetted out of the country for some medical treatment to sort out his lingering health condition.
Prior to his departure, Buhari received the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki; and Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, and expressed confidence in Osinbajo’s ability to carry out in his absence.
“I have absolute confidence that Government will continue to function smoothly and normally while I’m away. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Buhari said.
But earlier, Buhari had met with the 82 girls from Chibok, who were released in a swap deal by the Islamic sect, Boko Haram, on Saturday.
