American president Donald Trump has on Friday warned sacked FBI director, James Comey not to leak any tapes of their private conversations to the media.
President Trump, in his typical manner gave this warning in a couple of tweets in which he also lash out at the Democrats for being bad losers and the media for their ‘Fake News.’
“James Comey better hope that there are no “tapes” of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!” read one of the tweets.
He also mention the possibility of cancelling all future press briefings.
“…Maybe the best thing to do would be to cancel all future “press briefings” and hand out written responses for the sake of accuracy???” he tweeted.
President Trump has come under heavy attack from both the media and some Republican congressmen for some of his actions, especially the sacking of James Comey.
As a very democratic society, it comes as a shock to many that the American president would try to muzzle the press, and any other useful information that could be gotten from press briefings and other kind of hearings.
