Lagos – Twenty-nine ships, laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods, are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from May 22 to June 3.
According to “Shipping Position’’’, a publication of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), the ships contained buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, empty containers, petrol and containers laden with goods.
The NPA publication said that seven ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, aviation fuel and petroleum.
It said that 15 other ships were at the ports discharging empty containers, buck wheat, frozen fish, bulk sugar, Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATK), bulk gas containers and petroleum.
