Most Govt Officials, Judges, Security Agents into Cultism, Royal Father Makes Shocking Revelation

Orodje of Okpe kingdom, Orodje Orhue I, has lamented the alleged involvement of judges and government officials in cultism, alleging that top government officials, judges and security agents are members of different cult groups across the country.

The first Vice Chairman, Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers and the Orodje of Okpe kingdom, Orodje Orhue I, has lamented the alleged involvement of judges and government officials in cultism, alleging that top government officials, judges and security agents are members of different cult groups across the country.

Noting that cultism, among other vices, have deeply penetrated into the fabric of society, the monarch urged journalists to always report activities at the grassroots and in local communities.

He made this known at his palace while addressing members of the Indigenous Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, who paid him a visit.

In his remarks, chairman of the Indigenous Correspondents’ Chapel of the NUJ in the state, Mr. Barth Ozah, said journalists, particularly the indigenous correspondents were happy with the way the monarch had been fostering the spirit of love and mutual understanding among the Okpe people, especially the need to be united and live together as one family.

He called on the monarch to tackle the issue of increasing cultism and insecurity in the kingdom, saying that though cultism is a peculiar challenge in the state, it can be eradicated through collective efforts of parents and community leaders. (Guardian)
