ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – President Muhammadu Buhari has given indication that the Federal Government might ban the wearing of hijab by girls if suicide bombings continue.

Speaking at his maiden presidential media search at State House, Abuja on Wednesday, he admitted that the increasing use of hijab-clad young girls laced with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) was overwhelming the government.‎

“There is now increasing use of IEDs by girls using hijab. Hijab would have to be banned if these bombings continues,” he said.

Buhari also explained why he claimed that Boko Haram has been technically defeated, saying that they now lack the capacity to attack state institutions as was the case in the past.
