10 Wounded In Osun Multiple Road Crash

The Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC) has disclosed that ten persons sustained injuries as two vehicles collided along Ikirun-Osogbo on Sunday.

The accident which occured at Ayepe Area of the involved an ash coloured Toyota Highlander, with registration number APP09DB and a green coloured Toyota Previa with number FST212DK.

When contacted, the spokesperson of the FRSC Sector Command in Osun, Agnes Ogungbemi disclosed that the drivers may have been driving dangerously along the route which may have contributed to the accident.

She stated that no death was recorded and that the ten injured persons were the occupants of the two vehicles involved in the crash and all of them sustained injuries.

A of the injured indicates that three were adult males, while the remaining were four adult females, two male children and a female child.

Ogungbemi also disclosed that the FRSC rescue team had taken seven of the injured persons to the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, while the remaining three were taken to General Hospital Asubiaro, Osogbo for treatment.

Meanwhile, the vehicles involved were taken to the Ota-Efun Divisional Station, Osogbo, by men of the Nigeria Police.
