Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan has debunked insinuation in some News platforms that he is in the race to retain his position as President of the Senate in the 10th National Assembly.
In a statement signed by him, Lawan described the Information as untrue, adding that he has never told anyone or held a meeting with any individual that he is running for the Presidency of the 10th Senate.
Lawan stated that he remains part of the leadership of the Ruling APC, and the party at the moment is
seeking to find solutions to the numerous issues arising from the contests for the leadership of the 10th National Assembly and will continue to remain focused on that.
