Lagos – Fourteen ships laden with various commodities have arrived Lagos ports, waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), said in Lagos on Wednesday.
NPA stated this in a document, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN),
The document stated that the contents of the ships were bulk sugar, bulk fertilisers, crude palm olein and buthane.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”70560″]
NPA noted that 34 other ships were expected to sail into the ports with bulkwheat, bulk fertilisers, bulk sugar, bulk salt, rice, steel products and petrol from Nov. 4 to Dec. 1.
The document said other goods expected were base oil, ethanol, military equipment and bulk gas.
NAN reports that 20 other ships are at the ports, discharging bulk wheat, steel products, general cargo, diesel, containers, bulk sugar, soda ash and petrol. (NAN)
