19 ships laden laden with petrol, other commodities, discharging at Lagos ports

LAGOS – The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said that 19 ships laden with petrol and other commodities are discharging at the Lagos ports.

This is contained in NPA’s daily publication `Shipping Position’, made available to newsmen in Lagos on Tuesday.

It stated that three of the ships were laden with petrol, while the others had diesel, steel products, containers, bulk salt, bulk gypsum, fish, fertiliser, rice, general cargo and crude palm oil.

 

The publication indicated that 37 other ships, including six others laden with petrol, were expected in the Lagos ports from March 24 to April 17.

 

It stated that the other ships being expected would sail in with kerosene, diesel, aviation fuel, base oil, ethanol, general cargo, bulk rice and fish.

 

The publication stated that 13 other ships laden with petrol, kerosene, aviation fuel, rice, soya beans, general cargo and containers had arrived at the ports and waiting to berth. (NAN)
