LAGOS (Sundiata Post) – Two directors have retired from the board of United Bank for Africa (UBA). In a letter sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), the bank said Mr. Femi Olaloku will leave the bank effective from 30th of June, 2016 while Ms. Obi Ibekwe will leave the bank effective from31st of May, 2016 following completion of their tenure
In the same vein, the bank has announced a new set of executive directors which is pivotal for its future as it seeks to invest more in African countries. They include the following: Mr. Ibrahim Puri will serve as Executive Director, North Bank; Mr. Ayoku Liadi will serve as Executive Director, Lagos & West Bank; Mr. Oliver Alawuba will serve as Executive Director/CEO UBA Anglophone; Mr. Uche Ike will serve as Executive Director, Risk Management while Mr. Chukwuma Nweke will serve as Executive Director Operations & Technology.
