The convicts, Salihu, 27, and Saidu 28, all residents of Kudanden in Kaduna, were sentenced on a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy and theft.
The Magistrate, Mr Ibrahim Emmanuel handed down the sentence after the convicts pleaded guilty to the two-count charge.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Sgt. Chidi Oke, told the court that the convicts committed the offences on May 1, at Kudanden, Kaduna State.
Oke alleged that the convicts conspired with one Sadam Abdullahi, now at large, to steal a Bajaj brand of motorcycle belonging to one Abubakar Saleh.
The prosecutor explained that after stealing the motorcycle, they ran away until they were traced and arrested at De-Badesi Hotel, Kudanden.
He said during police investigation, the defendants confessed to have sold the motorcycle to one Bashir Zaria for N20,000.
Oke told the court that the offence contravened sections 59 and 271 of the Penal Code of Kaduna State, 2017.
