The convicts, Salihu, 27, and Saidu 28, all residents of Kudanden in Kaduna, were sentenced on a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy and theft.

The Magistrate, Mr Ibrahim Emmanuel handed down the sentence after the convicts pleaded guilty to the two-count charge.

He said during police investigation, the defendants confessed to have sold the motorcycle to one Bashir Zaria for N20,000.
