Abuja – A Wuse Zone 2 Senior Magistrate Court, Abuja, on Tuesday granted bail in the sum of N100, 000 to Adi Mayor and Tsehe Iorsoo, for alleged criminal trespass.
The defendants of no fixed address were arraigned on a one-count charge.
The Magistrate, Taribo Jim, granted them bail with a surety each in like sum and ordered that the surety must reside within the court’s jurisdiction.
He adjourned the case till Feb. 9, for hearing.
The Prosecutor, A.O Urom, said Nonyelum Nwole of Wuse 2, Abuja, reported the matter at the Maitama Police Station on Jan. 13.
He said the complainant alleged that they jointly trespass into his residence.
Urom said the defendants could not give satisfactory reason what they were doing there.
He said the offence was contravened Section 79 of the Penal Code.

Counsel to the defendant, John Ukaegbu applied for their bail, saying they would not jump bail and had reasonable sureties to take them on bail. (NAN)
