ILORIN – Dr Yunus Lawal, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara, has warned politicians to eschew bitterness for the success of the 2015 general elections.
Lawal, who is also the Chairman, Governing Council of the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, made the remark during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Ilorin.

The chieftain, who is a veterinary doctor, noted that no meaningful development could be achieved in an atmosphere of rancour, acrimony or hatred.
He, therefore, urged politicians to give peace a chance before, during and after the polls.
Lawal also advised politicians and their followers to shun destructive tendencies and other acts capable of truncating democracy in the country.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
He prayed for the successful conduct of the elections and for peace to continue to reign in the country.
The Board chairman commended the Kwara Government for assisting the State College of Health Technology in meeting its obligations in health education.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]

According to him, the college has produced several health personnel who have contributed immensely to the development of the nation’s health sector. (NAN)
