Mimiko KADUNA – Gov. Mukhtar Yero of Kaduna State on Thursday promised to ensure a level playing field for all aspirants on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) seeking elective positions in the 2015 general elections.
He said when the Coalition of Political Supporters Group, Kaduna State, visited him in Kaduna that all aspirants would be treated fairly during primary elections.
The coalition had, after a meeting attended by its members, endorsed the Goodluck-Sambo ticket for Presidency in 2015 and also the Yero-Bajoga ticket for Kaduna Governorship Election.
Yero thanked the group for showing support to his candidature and that of President Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sambo. [eap_ad_1] “Your support for Mr. President has shown that you have accepted the decision of the party on the candidature of Mr. President and the Vice President.
“We are pleased with your support and very soon you will hear from us.”
He called on members of the PDP to unite towards the 2015 polls, saying “it is wrong for those that have benefitted from the party to try to sabotage it. Let us all come together to ensure victory for our party in 2015 and beyond,” he added.
Earlier, leader of the coalition, Sen. Musa Bello, said the group, after an expanded meeting of its members, resolved to support the president, vice president, Gov. Yero and his deputy in 2015.(NAN)
