Otukpo (Benue) – The national under-17 female basketball team and Sweeties team of Makurdi on Wednesday in Otukpo qualified for the final of the ongoing 2015 Mark d’ball basketball competition.
The national team dominated from start to finish to beat Feature Drive basketball team of the FCT 44-17 to zoom into the final.
The team led 23-4 after the first quarter, 28-7 at the end of the second quarter, and 34-10 in the third quarter to book the final ticket.
In the other semi-final encounter, Sweeties team of Makurdi powered to the final by defeating Patriots basketball club of Bayelsa 40-36.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the final of the competition is scheduled to take place on Thursday, while the third-place match will come up earlier in the day.(NAN)
