Lagos – Eleven ships laden with petrol, diesel, aviation fuel, base oil and general cargo, have arrived Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos, waiting to berth.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication- Shipping Position’- made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Lagos.
The document noted that 34 other ships were expected in the ports from Aug. 5 to Aug. 28.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the contents of the expected ships are: bulk soya bean, general cargo, buck wheat, frozen fish, crude palm olein, and containers.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”70560″]
The document indicated that other ships were expected to sail in with petrol, diesel and truck heads.
NAN reports that 18 ships were in the ports discharging buck wheat, steel products, gasoline, bulk pet coke, general cargo, frozen fish, bulk fertiliser, containers, petrol, diesel, and bulk gas. (NAN)
