Anambra Church Attack is Attack on All Nigerians – Saraki

Abuja (Sundiata Post) –  President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki has described the Sunday attack on innocent worshipers at St. Philips Catholic Church Anambra as attack on all Nigerians, assuring that the senate will offer necessary assistance to security agencies to ensure they track down the culprits.

Saraki stated this on Sunday on his tweeter handle @bukolasaraki.

The Senate President on his tweeter handle said: “Today (yesterday), all of us have been attacked by this senseless act committed by evil people.

The Senate will continue to offer any form of necessary assistance to our security agencies as they track down those involved and the government and people of Anambra as they grapple with today’s tragedy, because today, all of us, as Nigerians have been attacked by this senseless act committed by evil people.”

Sundiata Post recalls that Gunmen on Sunday stormed St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State an opened fire on worshipers, killing many.
