ABUJA (Sundiata Post) North Africa teams have been slumping in dying minutes. In the good old days they could feign a thousand injuries in one match . And make referees get tired of adding lost time.
The truth is sometimes bitter. African teams are not good enough, so far. Nigeria didnt go to score. Tunisia didnt come to scare today. Morocco went to babysit Iran. Africans used to go to world cup to mesmerize.
It was so bad I saw Croatians bullying Nigerians. Nobody used to bully Nigeria , Cameroon and Ghana. they used dread our physicality. Not anymore.
We cant juggle the ball , we cant kick asses!
Africans can’t defend set pieces. They don’t stick to their men. Because they don’t stick to their women at home. But what is this about grabbing men by the neck. Why cant they grab like Trump. Or nearly like him. No one gets punished for grabbing a bit , by the waist ,in the penalty box.
Our coach now looks like a man that has just lost his wife. I hope we will not go against Iceland with any suicidal ideas. If we attack recklessly, we could get massacred on the counter.
