Abacha’s Loot, Babachir, Maina, NHIS Boss and Buhari’s False Integrity By Moses Ochonu

ABUJA (Sundiata Post) I said Abacha didn’t steal but I’m collecting hundreds of millions of dollars of his loot from Switzerland.

I defended and exonerated former SGF, Babachir Lawal, even as evidence mounted against him, only reluctantly bowing to this mountain of evidence to show him the door

I signed off on the recall of fugitive former Pension Task Force Chairman, Abdulrasheed Maina, who stands accused of embezzling billions of Naira from the Police Pension Fund and abconding to avoid trial. When his recall was revealed and became a scandal, I feigned ignorance and faux outrage and “fired” him. However, I made sure that the DSS, which provided him protection during his clandestine sojourn back in the country, made a way for him to flee the country.

I continue to ignore the reported corrupt dealings of members of my inner circle and appointees, namely, Abba Kyari, Buratai, and Dambazzau.

I ignored established procedures and grave concerns expressed by critical stakeholders and intelligence professionals about the character, integrity, and capacity of my French language interpreter and made him the head of the NIA.

I followed that up by ignoring an ongoing EFCC investigation and a corruption indictment by a ministerial panel of Professor Usman Yusuf, the suspended head of the NHIS, and reinstated him over his principal, the minister of health. In doing so, I validated the boast of Professor Yusuf that he would not report to or obey the minister because he is directly connected to Aso Rock, where his fellow Katsina State man holds sway.

And yet I claim to be fighting corruption and that I possess integrity.

Who am I?
