Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Lawmaker representing Kaduna central senatorial district at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has congratulated Mr. Yusuf Magaji Bichi on his appointment as Director General, Department of State Services (DSS) even as he outlines seven- point agenda for him to focus on.
Shehu Sani’s seven-point agenda may not be unconnected with obvious infractions noticed while the former DSS boss, Lawal Daura, who was sacked under controversial circumstance, was holding sway.
Recall that Daura was sacked for allegedly ordering the siege of the entrance of the assembly complex without clearance from the Acting Vice President Yemi Osinbajo or Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan Ali.
According to Sani, Mr. Bichi should exhibit high level of professionalism; show respect for rule of law and obedient to court orders; end kidnapping and rescue abductees; avoid partisanship as well as asphyxiate and annihilate terror group.
The Kaduna senator also admonished Bichi to also improve welfare of operatives and to use gloves when shaking politicians
Shehu Sani disclosed this when he took to his twitter handle @Shehu Sani and said:
“Congrats to Yusuf Magaji Bichi;7 Agenda for the New DSS Boss; Professionalism, Respect for rule of law & Obey Court orders, End kidnappings & rescue abductees, Avoid partisanship, asphyxiate & annihilate terror groups, Improve welfare of operatives, use gloves when shaking politicians.”
