Ilorin,   –     Mr Dapo Balogun, the Proprietor of Top Class Nursery & Primary School, Ilorin has advised the Federal, state Governments and private school owners to always employ teachers with sound moral character and academic qualifications.

Balogun gave the advice in Ilorin on Tuesday during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He said many teachers were academically sound but not morally sound, adding that this might be dangerous to the future of pupils, students and education in the country.

“In Nigeria, both private and public schools are guilty, it is now becoming a practice whereby only academically brilliant teachers are being considered for employment, not minding their moral ethics.
