Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Minister of Women Affairs, Senator Aisha Alhasan was on Thursday summoned by the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress.
The Minister met with the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegu and the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi behind closed doors.
Although the details of the closed door meeting were not made public, it was learnt that the Minister was given an opportunity to explain herself in the light of the recent controversy generated by her media comment.
The minister emerged from the meeting and rushed into her waiting vehicle.
Sundiata Post recalls that the Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Aisha Alhassan had in Hausa BBC declared support for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for 2019 presidency. (Punch)
