2019: Prepare for Mother of All Battles – Fani-Kayode Urges PDP, Congratulates Atiku

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Former Minister of Aviation and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has asked the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to prepare for the mother of all battles as he alleged that the party is up against dangerous, desperate, relentless and callous president.

Fani-Kayode who said this while reacting to the emergence of former Vice President, Atiku Abubaka as the presidential flag bearer of the PDP, congratulated the Turaki Adamawa for his victory at the convention that held on Saturday.

He also calling on members of the party to come together and prepare for presidential election, reminding that it’s one thing to win a presidential primary and quite another to win a presidential election.

He therefore urged the party to gird its lions, rally its forces and prepare for the mother of all battles because according to him, “we are up against a dangerous, desperate, relentless and callous president.

Fani-Kayode who drooped the hint in a multiple tweets, congratulated the Turaki Adamawa on a great victory at the just concluded convention of the party. Adding that now is the time for each and every one @OfficialPDPNig to come together as a party and prepare for the presidential election.

He also asked the All Progressives Congress (APC) to get ready for war even as he urged President Buhari to prepare for retirement.

The former minister who took to twitter handle @realFFK said:

Recall that former President Atiku Abubakar on Sunday emerged the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) after a keen contest with other ten aspirants at the convention of the party which took place at Mesiaka Stadium, Rivers State.

Atiku pulled 1,532 votes to defeat Governor of Sokoto State, Rt Hon Aminu Tambuwal who came second with a vote of 693.
