By Sunday John

Lafia – Labaran Maku, Nasarawa State Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Emir of Lafia, Isa Mustapher-Agwai.

Maku in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Lafia, said he received the news of the death of the Emir with shock, after hearing that his condition was getting better.

“May his soul and the souls of all other prominent Nigerians who died recently rest in peace with the Lord,” Maku added.

He said the state has lost a father whose wealth of experience would be missed.
