Elections: NCS deploys personnel to complement police efforts in Ogun

Sango-Ota – The Ogun Command of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) says it will deploy enough personnel to assist the police in the conduct of the election on Saturday.

Mr Abdullahi Maiwada, the Public Relations Officer of NCS in Ogun, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ota, that the deployment of personnel was to complement the efforts of the police during the election.

According to him, there would be intensive patrols to check and man the borders as well as various check points in the state.

”Approved routes will also be floated as usual as regard the Federal Government directives for floating of boarders,” Maiwada  said.

He further said the command would put rigorous Intensive Anti-Smugglers Patrols in those areas to check leakages.
