Lagos – A 27-year-old woman, Favour Ojimba and a 56-yar-old, Ephraim Agwu, who allegedly abducted a 14-year-old against her will, on Monday appeared in an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.

The police charged Ojimba and Agwu with conspiracy, unlawful abduction and conduct likely to cause breach of peace.

Insp, Chinalu Uwadione, the police prosecutor, told the court that the defendants committed the offence on March 10, at No. 4, Railway Line, Iddo, Ebute Meta.

After the charge was read to them, they pleaded not guilty.

Chief Magistrate Adeola Adedayo granted the defendants bail in the sum of N500,000 each with two sureties each in like sum.

Adedayo adjourned the case until April 23 for further hearing.
