Cairo – Egyptian health ministry said on Monday in Cairo that 21 people died and 66 others were sent to hospitals due to the heat-wave hitting Egypt.
A statement by the ministry said the victims suffered from the extremely hot weather in August, which reached 47 degrees Celsius.

Wahid Saudi, spokesman of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, advised the citizenry take adequate measures and not to be directly subjected to the sun especially at noon and not to leave home unless necessary
