LAGOS – Twenty two ships laden with petroleum products and food items have arrived the Lagos ports, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Wednesday in Lagos.

The NPA made this known in its daily publication, ‘Shipping Position’.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
It said that 10 of the ships sailed in with petrol, base oil and diesel, while 12 were laden with food items [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]such as frozen fish, rice and other general cargo.
The NPA said that 46 ships would be expected in the ports from Jan. 14 to Jan. 31.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
According to the NPA, 21 of the expected ships will arrive with containers, while 12 will sail in with food products.
It said that general cargo would arrive in seven ships, while a ship would sail in with vehicle.
The authority added that five ships would arrive at the ports with petrol, aviation fuel, diesel and bulk coal. (NAN)
