Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Emir of Dutse Alhaji Muhammad Hamim Nuhu Sanusi has hailed the establishment of 26 Armoured Brigade in Dutse promising to support the Nigerian Army to succeed in Jigawa State.
This was contained in a statement released with photos by the Nigerian Army via its official twitter handle @HQNigweianArmy on Friday (today) the 7th day of April 2023.
According to the Army Headquarters, the Emir made the commendation recently at his palace when the Pioneer Commander 26 Amoured Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Haruna Muhammad Abubakar paid a courtesy visit as part of his familiarization tour of his area of responsibility.
The 26 Armoured Brigade is among the newly established Brigade in Nigerian Army to curtail the influx of criminal elements into the country.
Sundiata Post recalls that criminal elements including but not limited to terrorists, Boko Haram and bandits have been coming into Nigeria through neighbouring borders especially through the northern region with the antecedent killings, kidnapping, land-grabbing, gold mining as well as cattle rustling, among other heinous crimes.
