Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Niger State Police Command has arrested 26-year-old Bala Aliyu for allegedly defiling the 10-year-old daughter of his wife’s friend at the El-Waziri community of Bosso, in Bosso Local Government Area.
The victim, Hauwa, was sent on an errand to deliver a message to a friend of her mother. However, when she arrived at the destination, Bala Aliyu, the 26-year-old husband of the intended recipient, dragged her into a room and forcefully defiled her.
To make matters worse, he threatened to kill her if she dared to reveal the incident to anyone.
Fortunately, Hauwa’s family noticed unusual bruises on her private parts, prompting them to investigate further. Hauwa told her parents how she was raped, leading to the swift arrest of Bala Aliyu.
