Abeokuta – Three petrol station attendants were on Friday arraigned in an Abeokuta Magistrates’ Court over alleged conspiracy and stealing of N600, 000.
The accused persons are Muinat Sotande, 28; Ajibola Adeyemi, 35; and Saheed Adenekan, 32.
According to the prosecutor, Insp Famous Edigbue, the accused allegedly committed the offences sometimes in March at Sandop Filling Station, Olomore, Abeokuta.
Edigbue said the accused, who were attendants, conspired and stole N600, 000 belonging to the filling station.
He said the offences contravened Sections 516, 383 and 390 (9) of the Criminal Laws of Ogun, 2006.
The suspects, hower, pleaded not guilty to a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.
The Magistrate, Mr Olu Ilo, granted the accused persons bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties each in like sum.
