30 ships with petroleum products, food items expected — NPA

Lagos – The Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 30 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods from Dec. 20 to Jan. 8.

The made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos Monday.

According to it, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Ports Complex.

It said the ships contained petrol, base oil, containers, cargo, steel pipes, bulk sugar, frozen fish, bulk salt and buck wheat.

said 20 ships had arrived at the ports, waiting to berth with containers and fuel.

Also, the organisation said 16 other ships are at the ports discharging general cargo, containers, bulk wheat, bulk sugar, petrol, fuel and ammonium.
