ABUJA (SundiataPost) – Nigeria’s COVID-19 infections continue to increase at an alarming rate, according to update released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday night.
Nigeria now has 12,233 confirmed cases.
However, one important development is that the number of infections in Lagos reduced while there seems to be an upsurge in the South-Eastern states of Ebonyi (23), Anambra (17) and Imo (12). Also worrisome is Rivers State (24) along with Edo (23). These are states where the infection rate had previously remained very low.
