PORT HARCOURT – Chief Nyesom Wike, the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Rivers on Tuesday, said that he would embark
embark on economic and infrastructure reforms if elected.
Wike, who stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Port Harcourt, promised to reposition
Rivers on the path of prosperity.
He also promised to engage in intensive resources reconstruction, regeneration and total redevelopment of the state.
‘’The New Rivers Vision 2015 will work toward the restoration of the pride of the people of Rivers and re-establishment of
judiciary and legislative arms of government destroyed by the outgoing administration.
‘’We shall, when win, in the name of God Almighty, endeavour to recover our looted public resources,’’ Wike said.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate also promised to close ranks with politicians and stakeholders in the state, assuring that
no Rivers person would suffer disaffection or discrimination if his administration came on board.
He further assured the people that his administration would ensure that true reconciliation prevailed for the state to
