Eva Longoria and her husband Jose Bastón welcomed a baby boy on Tuesday, June 19, according to Hola! USA, who broke the news. The child, Longoria’s first, is named Santiago Enrique Bastón.
The publication also shared a photo of the actress smiling with her newborn, who’s wrapped up in a blanket and wearing a striped cap.
“We are so grateful for this beautiful blessing,” the couple told Hola!. Their bundle of joy arrives two years after Longoria, 43, and Bastón, 50, tied the knot in Mexico. They started dating in 2013 and became engaged in 2015 in Dubai, according to People.
Longoria confirmed her pregnancy to People in December when she was four months along. At the time the couple already confirmed they were having a boy. She debuted her baby bump days later during a casual walk in Miami beach.
However, the Desperate Housewives alum made some glam appearances during her pregnancy, including her induction to the Hollywood Walk of Fame in April.
Bastón, president of Latin American media company Televisa, is already a father to three kids—Mariana, Natalia and José—whom he shares with ex-wife Natalia Esperón. Longoria became a doting stepmom to them before having her own child.
“We have three children already, I have three stepchildren so it’s not like it’s anything new,” she previously told Hola!. “We are enjoying it.”
