KABUL- A total of 50 Afghan nationals released from Pakistani jails recently have returned to their homeland , the state-run Radio and Television of Afghanistan (RTA) reported on Thursday.
After receiving necessary assistance at a border crossing point, the returnees would be transported to their home provinces.
Nearly 400 Afghan nationals have been set free from Pakistani jails and returned to their homeland over the past couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, a total of 3,465 Afghan refugee families, totaling 16,376 members , have returned to their homelands from Pakistan and Iran, over the past week. (Xinhua/NAN)
