“ Eighty per cent of Nigerian youths are without jobs and this should be a call for action on the part every well-meaning Nigerian.
“Our young people transiting through various stages of the education tier into the labour force in the world today are faced with ever-increasing hurdles to secure gainful employment and career opportunities.
“Mike Omotosho Foundation is taking action aimed at affiliation with some selected reputable organisations to explore these issues and identify solutions to help young people move into gainful employment.
“This challenge here centers on an extremely complex matter with many facets.
“In addressing the needs of our young people, Nigerians must believe that different types of transitions might require different solutions.
“Some may have deficiency in soft skills needed for work such as social and creative abilities while others may be facing the prospect of short-term employment without prospects for long-term career growth, ” Abdul-Bala said. (NAN)
