37 ships laden with petroleum products, foods expected in Lagos

Lagos  –  Thirty seven ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Lagos ports from Nov. 3 to Nov. 30.

This is contained in the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) daily publication – `Shipping Position’, – made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Tuesday.

The expected ships contained general cargo, crude palm olein and bulk malt.

It noted that other expected ships contained base oil, bulk sugar and bulk rice, buck wheat, diesel, frozen fish, containers, bulk fertilisers, bulk gas, diesel, petrol and steel products.

NAN reports that 13 other ships have arrived at the ports, waiting to berth with petrol, steel products, general cargo and containers.

NAN also reports 21 other ships in the ports are discharging food items, containers and petroleum products. (NAN)
