Abuja – The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, on Wednesday said his ministry would collaborate with the Kaduna State Government to enlighten Nigerians to take ownership of the change agenda.
Muhammed said this when Gov. Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
The minister, who called for synergy between his ministry and the state government, said information and culture remained the only tools to drive the change agenda.
He said the ministry would soon launch a campaign on national orientation to stress the need for paradigm shift in order to make a difference.
Muhammed described el-Rufai as a courageous governor who does not fear facing challenges.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”70560″]
He said anybody who was afraid of confronting challenges could achieve only very little but added that he was confident that the governor would achieve much even in the face of challenges.
Earlier, el-Rufai said his visit was to pay respect to Muhammed over his appointment as the Minister of Information and Culture.
The governor said Muhammed was deployed to the relevant ministry owing to his contribution to APC’s development.
He urged Nigerians to support and pray for President Muhammed Buhari and his ministers to effectively drive the change agenda. (NAN)
