Lagos – The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) says its Annual General Meeting (AGM) would hold in Bauchi on Dec. 15.
Emmanuel Nweri, NOC Senior Manager, Policy and Strategy, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Thursday that the statutory AGM with all sports federations and sports organisations would hold at the Yankari Resort in Bauchi State.
He said that progress reports on the Rio 2016 Olympics would be presented at the meeting.
“The progress reports for the 2016 Rio Olympics would be presented and all other issues will be addressed and monitored.
“Audit reports of all other federations are also to be presented and the National Sports Commission (NSC) will also be in attendance,’’ Nweri said.

He said that merit awards would also be given to exceptional athletes and administrators.
“We will also use the event to give some well deserving sports men and women awards for their performance this year,’’ Nweri added. (NAN)
