Lagos – A Lagos-based business woman, Iyabowale Adesuyi and her husband Moses Adesuyi, on Monday pleaded with an Igando Customary Court they were willing to give each another chance.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports Iyabowale had filed for divorce in November 2015 over alleged battering and a lack of care for her and their children.
Iyabowale told the court that she was the breadwinner of the family.
In the resumed hearing, the couple presented a jointly written to the court stating they had resolved their differences and willing to give each other a second chance.

The couple told the court that they want to withdraw the case.
The President of the Court, Adegboyega Omilola, told the Akinsuyi’s that their decision to allow peace to reign was commendable.
Omilola, however, told the couple that their letter would not be accepted because it was wrongly addressed.
He, then adjourned the case to Feb. 1 to enable them to present a properly addressed letter to the court. (NAN)
