Lagos – Some Nigerians on Monday said that upholding morality is the veritable way of promoting religious tourism in the country.
Some of them that spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos are of the opinion that upholding morality is a veritable way of encouraging the development of religious tourism in Nigeria.
Mr John Ogbe, a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), said that upholding God’s principle was a way of encouraging morality in the society.
“The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and when people learn to comprehend this, it will improve their integrity in whatever they find themselves in.
“With that foreigners would start to have trust in doing businesses with Nigerians and Nigeria,” he said.
Ogbe tasked people to be honest and forthright their dealings with other people.
Mr Solomon Utah, another respondent, said that churches can use special programmes to attract foreigners to the country.
