Buhari proceeds on 10-day vacation to seek medical attention – Presidency

ABUJA – President Muhammadu Buhari will commence a 10-day vacation on Monday, the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina has said.

Adesina stated that the president would travel to London on the same date.

“During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T Specialist for a persistent ear infection. The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja, and was treated.

“Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution,’’ the statement said.

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday, in a series of tweets, said that the president was sick and that a cabal headed by the director-general of the Department of State Security (DSS), Mamman Daura, was ruling Nigeria. The government, however, denied the allegation.
