Osun Govt. tasks multinationals on fire outbreaks

Osogbo – The Government of Osun on Tuesday charged multinational organisations in the state on the need to take precautionary measures against fire outbreak in the state.
Mr Mudasiru Toogun, Chairman, Special Committee on Fire Safety in the state, gave this charge during his sensitisation tour to multinational organisations in the state.
He advised owners of establishments in the state to put all necessary fire equipment in place as well as allowing exit points in case of fire outbreaks.
He assured residents in the state that the state administration will not relent in its efforts at protecting lives and property of every citizen in the state.
The heads of the organisations visited lauded the efforts and initiatives of the state government, and promised to comply and put in place fire safety precaution to safeguard against fire outbreaks.
Organisations visited by the fire safety committee included DAAR Communication Plc, AIRTEL and Etisalat offices, all in Osogbo, the state capital. (NAN)
