OKUTA (Kwara) – One Boni Sabi, 30, has pleaded guilty to a charge of breach of contract before an Okuta Area Court in Kwara for failing to deliver 10 bags of maize to his customer.
The presiding judge, Malam Ahmed Yahaya, then ordered Sabi to be held in police custody until Oct. 9 when judgment would be delivered in the case due to the plea. [eap_ad_1] The prosecutor, Femian Mohammed, had told the court that the matter was reported at the Okuta Police Station.
“Sulaiman Ibrahim gave the accused N40,000 to deliver 10 bags of maize to him within three weeks.
The accused failed to deliver the maize despite several reminders.’’
The prosecutor said the offence contravened Section 311 of the Penal Code. (NAN)
