The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has announced plans to device improved security measures to curb the increasing acts of terrorism and other criminal activities in the country.

The Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr Ade Abolurin told a gathering in Abuja that the 2014 Security Summit is aimed at seeking new ways of tackling security challenges across the country, especially ahead of 2015 general elections.
Mr Abolurin appealed to the public to join hands in making the nation safe by providing information to security operatives on suspicious individuals. (Channels)
