Sundiata Post – Abia State House of Assembly today impeached the Speaker Hon Martins Azubuike. The Speaker was impeached by 20 out of the 24 members of the house.
Hon Martin Azubuike was impeached for alleged sundry offences ranging from financial recklessness, inability to carry other members along in decision making and when decisions are taking collectively, he implements the contrary.
A member, House of Assembly of Abia State on Channels news monitored by our correspondent added that the speaker was guilty of running the affairs of the Assembly like personal estate.
As at the time of filling this report, calls were put across to the speaker and Press Secretary to the speaker for their reaction but non on the lines went through.
