Akure — Mr Idowu Gbadamosi on Tuesday at an Akure Customary Court said that his life was not guaranteed with his wife, Mercy.
The complainant said this while giving reasons for his calling for the dissolution of his five year-old marriage.
He said that the respondent was quarrelsome and fond of destroying his properties.
The complainant said the respondent did threaten him with cutlass.
According to him, the respondent is unyielding and cannot heed to correction.
Responding, Mercy said she had made several efforts for reconciliation but the complainant did not give room.
Ruling on the case, the Court’s President, Chief Rotimi Olusanya, urged the complainant to allow reconciliation, adding that the respondent was already looking sobered.
He urged both parties to allow peace to reign and put the interest of their two children into consideration.
The president adjourned the case to Feb.14 for settlement.
