Hong Kong – Donald Tsang, former Head of Hong Kong’s Government, was found guilty of misconduct in public office by a jury on Friday according to the South China Morning Post.

After a four-week trial and 20 hours of jury deliberation, Tsang, 72, was found guilty of misconduct for failing to tell a council of advisors about talks with a major shareholder of digital broadcaster Wave Media about a luxury property he planned to refurbish.
Wave Media was seeking a broadcasting license from the Tsang administration at the time.
Tsang, who as chief executive of Hong Kong from 2005 to 2012, was acquitted of a second misconduct charge and the charge of accepting an advantage as chief executive.
